Here are 5 random facts about me that go into writing great web copy for you.
1) I'm a Cisco CCIE (the IT world's 'MBA'), a teacher and a coach - so I can quickly pick up technical material and put it into words most people can understand.
2) When I need writing inspiration, I go for a run. The subconscious can be very creative when programmed correctly. Besides, effective drafting, editing and proofreading require that breaks are taken.
3) I use mindmapping software for brainstorming Internet marketing strategies, coming up with headlines, USPs, benefits, writing article outlines and organizing data for reports and white papers.
4) Most writers love to read. My favourite / favorite (pick one!) novel is "Replay" by Ken Grimwood - a Sci-Fi classic with a time travel theme.
5) Kuri ("chestnut" in Japanese) - she's a 6 year old American Cocker Spaniel who rules her Queendom with an iron paw! Truly, a man's best friend. When my concentration begins to wander, Kuri's carefree attitude to life reminds me to "be here now".
