To help with your budgeting, here’s my standard rate card for B2B technology copywriting projects.

Your quote(s) may vary depending on the project’s complexity, scale, timeframe and the amount of research required.

Please note that the minimum project fee is $1,000.

White Papers: $2100 to $3500; 5 to 10 pages.

Customer success stories (1 to 2 pages) and case studies (3 to 4 pages). Fee includes customer interviews by telephone and/or online video call.
Case Study: $1000 to $2000; 2 to 4 pages.

Blog Posts: $250 per post for a series of 5 or more posts to help build ‘thought leadership’

Catalog Copywriting: $100 per qtr page entry; $350 for a full page.

Corporate Brochure: Approx. $300 per page.

Email Autoresponder Copy: $275 per email.
Minimum of 5 emails in a lead generation or online sales conversion series.

Landing Page: Starts from $1000

Press Release: Starts from $350

In-Depth Article (for Trade Magazines): approx. $975 (per 1000 words)

Product Data Sheet: From $800 (two pages)

Sales Letter: From $2500: Direct Response Style

Web Site Content: From $500 per page.
Includes technical product pages.

White Paper & Case Study Consultation / Review: $395 – includes 60 minutes recorded (mp3) phone consultation, plus followup report by email. (This fee can be deducted from one completed case study.)

Rush jobs (those due within five business days of ordering) are subject to a 75% surcharge and require a 50% deposit before work starts. I do very few of these.
